This policy explains how Stage Mate collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website and application. Stage Mate is operated by Paddock IV Pty Ltd (ABN 30 661 574 723), trading as Stage Mate.

Information we collect

• Account information, including your name, email address, profile picture, login provider, and account settings.
• Content you add to Stage Mate, such as songs, setlists, shows, band information, and collaboration activity.
• Subscription and billing information, including your plan and subscription status. Stripe processes payment-card details; Stage Mate does not store full card numbers or CVCs on its servers.
• Usage and technical information, such as pages and features used, interactions, referral or campaign information, browser and device information, IP address, logs, errors, and performance data. Where enabled, analytics may include session recordings used to understand and improve the product.
• Messages and other information you provide when you contact us for support.

Google Sign-In data

If you choose to sign in with Google, Stage Mate uses Google's OAuth service to receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only to authenticate you, create or identify your Stage Mate account, secure that account, and display your account identity where needed in the service.

Supabase stores this Google-provided information as part of your authentication account. Stage Mate does not request access to Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, your contacts, or other Google services. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or training generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and secure Stage Mate and its account, collaboration, subscription, and support features.
• Process subscriptions and send service-related communications.
• Diagnose faults, prevent abuse, understand how the service is used, and improve its functionality and user experience.
• Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

When information is shared

We share personal information only as needed to operate Stage Mate, when you direct us to share it, or when required by law. This includes:

• Other Stage Mate users when you join or share a band, show, or other collaborative content with them.
• Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services.
• Stripe for payments and subscription management.
• Resend for transactional email, such as account and service messages.
• Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse prevention on forms where used.
• PostHog for product analytics, error diagnostics, and session recordings where enabled.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, or defend legal rights.

Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their own data-protection obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Storage, security, and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted network connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Stage Mate and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different privacy laws.

Retention and deletion

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide Stage Mate, maintain necessary business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it is held. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and Stage Mate account by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or record-keeping purposes.

Cookies and local storage

Stage Mate uses cookies and similar browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and reliable operation of the service. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling them may prevent parts of Stage Mate from working.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our service or data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how we use personal information.
