The Word Processor for Chord Charts
We’ve rebuilt Stage Mate’s song editor from the ground up—not as a better text box, but as a proper editor for chord charts.
This is not a cosmetic refresh. We rebuilt the editor around a different standard: a song should behave like a document when you edit it, while chords, sections, cues and vocal parts remain musical parts of the chart—not formatting you have to maintain by hand.
The rebuilt editor makes whole-song editing feel as natural as it ought to. It is a chord and lyric editor where you can type, select, copy, paste and undo naturally, then shape the chart with chords, headings, instructions and vocal roles without switching modes or losing your place.
That is the difference between a songbook that displays charts and a tool built to prepare them. It is a word processor for chord charts: built to keep the document and the music in step from first preparation through rehearsal and onto the Stage.
